My history teacher during my sophmore year in high school gave me this book. One of the greatest books I've ever read and still read over and over to this day.

The thing I liked about Don Miguel Ruiz's views were that he balanced the Toltec Teachings brought to the limelight by Carlos Castaneda with "Love" instead of "Fear" which Castaneda used in his teaching. I still think Fear must be processed in the mindset before love though. Too many people fear before they can love.

I believe that every living soul should at least read the 2nd chapter of this book titled "Petty Tyrants." If people can grasp the message, it will literally change their lives.
