One of my FAVORITE books (and authors!) Whenever I need to ponder an issue or problem I can open this book anywhere and just start reading. Suddenly clarity.I highly recommend this book. Don't just read it. Feel it. Experience it.

This book was something else. Terrifying, educational...amazing. The writing was so thorough I felt as if I was trudging up an icefield on Everest, hearing the cracking of my crampons with each step, feeling the icy wind pelt my exposed face. I really enjoyed this book. (And no, the highest I will ever go is Mt. Rainier - no Sherpa required!) Reading Into Thin Air inspired me to re-read Into The Wild as well. :)
