Anne Rice is a genius! The characters are wonderful, the language is so poetic and of course, you HAVE to love Lestat...because he says so!Lestat is GOD!!!

I love the Gemma Doyle trilogy and the previous books were great, but I think there was something slightly different to this one that I couldn't quite put my finger on. Maybe it was just a tad bit anti-climactic, but I just remember feeling somewhat depressed when I finished it.

The sequel is brilliant! I love how it gets much deeper into the characters, especially Felicity. Even the smaller characters like Nell have such a deep persona to them.

My favorite book of all time! The writing style is so visionary, the characters are fascinating and the story in itself has such a terrible beauty to it which I love.

I can see why this is Rice's favorite of the chronicles. Who better a match than Lestat and the Devil himself?

A lovely little book that makes me feel at home when I think of England. I find myself relating to my the characters of Jane and Edward quite a lot and I love the themes of the story.

Great book and I loved the ending, and I loved the spiritual connection. Although, the character development seemed a little bit typical.
