I liked the book. It was a good read. I thought it was silly that the main character kept saying she was just ok looking but then everyone that was not gay was hitting on her and eyeballing her. It got irritating.

Not stimulating enough for a child in a manic phase. Not interesting enough for a child in a depressive phase. I spent more on this book than I wanted to and had my little one ignore it completely. In fact he tried to throw it away more than once. Now if only we could get Ben 10 and Spongebob to appear in a book about being bipolar I might just might get him to read it.

The most helpful book I have come across if you have a bipolar child. It has really helped me in getting our little one the best IEP and helped identify coping strategies for the times the meds just aren't working.

I read Emerson only because my husband does. I finish books faster than him so I start in on his pile before we return to the library. This is one of my favorites. This book has a different aura compared to Emerson's others. The bad guys and the good guys are one and the same. You find yourself rooting for the main character even when he is being an idiot and making all the wrong decisions.
