The writing is superb, but the story was dull at times. If the entire story of Levin were to be omitted, the book would be much better. The entire eighth part was contrived; I have a hard time reading when I can't stop rolling my eyes.

There were parts of the book which made me roll with laughter, but the majority of it was comprised of political sentiments I generally agree with and a few things which were just a bit odd. Re: Mormons. As an Mormon-raised atheist, I have to agree with Mr. Cross on the issue.
