This series of chronicles gave me a wonderful "book high" My favorite characters, and lots of new ones gave me an escape into her world. Claudia of Lestat, reminded me of my older sister, What a brat. I love all of Anne Rice's books. She is HOT!

This book answered question I have wondered for the past 30 years. My son has downs syndrome and autism and without speech, he was unable to answer why he did unusual things. She is amazing considering her beginnings and if ever there were a manual for autism, this book is it.
