After i finished off the Harper Hall Series of McCaffrey's I ran into Acorna and fell head over hills in love with the story. Anne really moves the imagination with this work. I read it when i was about thirteen and still to this day i pick it up and read it with great enjoyment.Acorna is not just your average sci-fi read, it is life just like all of McCaffrey's other works. You see yourself there, you feel the pain and the anguish of the children and you share in their joy of the idea of freedom by way of their angel.
