An interesting insight into the mind of Voltaire. A satire of the ideas of the day. Though I am these days more persuaded with the thought of Leibniz than Voltaire was, i.e., you can be optimistic about life, if you acknowledge that suffering is part of it, then you can overcome it and do your best to make a better world.
