Ok, well I finished the book in less than a day...nothing new there...strangely though I'm still pondering how I feel about the book. Some plot moments seemed so unimportant to the story. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Quinn but his fast appearance and disappearance seemed so pointless. Also not too sure what Sam's mother getting hurt did to help the story alone. The death of Tray led me to believe that Amelia would head back home in the next book and sadly Harris made it sound like Sookie was warming up to Bill which stinks. Frankly after this book she doesn't need any of them: Quinn has his family to put first, Eric has his position to put first, Bill as his loyalty to Eric to put first, even Alice has his pack and Sam as his bar...Sookie needs a new love interest! Oh yeah and what ever happened to Bubba? I did not enjoy the twist that killed Claudine either...she was mad fun...but at least Octavia's gone...never really understood her part in the story. All in all I might have to read it again to form something solid...I like the series and the characters so of course I liked it but the storyline seemed weak in spots and the build up to a two page ending was anti-climatic.
