It was good but frustrating. While I can understand and have fought with the urge to binge eat; eat when I'm not hungry; and just plain go on autopilot when eating, I felt she didn't help herself or try. She sometimes made me think of a melodramatic attention getter. Very delicate. She never exercised. She didn't even try to cut down her enormous amount of soda. Her biggest effort seemed to be getting diet pills from her doctors. Then when she finally has gastric bypass surgery, and after complications, she finally tries to get back to normal, she's almost hjooked on painkillers and then orders BBQ as the first thing she's going to eat. If she went thorugh any counseling prior to the surgery I wish she has written about it. most doctors I've heard of make hou lose weight before the surgery - put you on a liquid diet. Nothing. I wish her well and no that part of my frustration with her is my own frustration with myself.
