This is the first novel of Reichs that takes place in Charlotte, NC! Considering I just recently moved to Charlotte it was fascinating to read about Charlotte's history and all it has to offer it's residences. The majority of Fatal Voyage focuses on a plane crash that occures in the mountains of Bryson City. Learning about DMORT and reading what anthropolgist specifically do at a disaster site was fascinating & suspenseful. The ending will 'keep you guessing' as you sit for hours wanting more.
