This was a pretty good book. Overall I'm not too big of a fan of Albom's, as his writing tends to be over-the-top figurative and have very obvious morals and values strewn throughout. It's not that I mind these things in a novel, but I prefer for the novels to be longer and the "messages" to be more subtle. Perhaps he just has a different sort of audience in mind, say, the general unread public, but I would prefer not to be spoonfed his (at times, corny) ideas. Although, this book was a quick, fun read, it had a surprise ending, and it was better than The Five People You Meet in Heaven.
