 Interesting essays.
Humorous observations about America abound when Bill Bryson, a native born American humorist returns after spending the last 20 years in England. This collection of newspaper columns focuses on the little thing, like diners, motels, TV, dieting, consumerism, hypocrisy, the legal system, politics, culture, preparing tax returns, how to assemble a computer. The columns were interesting if for no other reason than because they were written for a British audience. I appreciate his writing in general. I love the smiley face binoculars on the cover.
