I love The Colbert Report, but this book represents too much of a good thing. The first few chapters are hilarious, but the joke gets stale after that, and it really is the same joke throughout the same book: Look at things from a ridiculously conservative perspective while proclaiming to be the answer to all of America's ills. Unless you're a diehard part of "the Colbert Nation", stick with the show.
