When i was younger my mother read this book during a rather hot summer where we spent alot of time at a local swimming pool. Suffice to say, it made me want to read it when i grew older. As a fan, now days, of King's work this has to be one of my favorites among many of his. I think i truly appreciate the work he does because he tends to (very subtly, i may add) connect books even if you don't truly realize that it is occuring at all. Not even that is why i enjoy this book, but the complete mythos of what IT it. From the history of the beast, to the rich characters who come to battle both it, and those who wish to conspire to hurt the "losers" club. For those of you out there who like some of his work and have not read this, READ IT.
