Review of Romeo and Juliet by A Reader

Contrary to most opinions I've encountered, 'Romeo and Juliet' in my opinion, is not a satisfying read, and at best a mediocre story. While Shakespeare's own command of language, and his play on words are wonderful, the characters of Romeo and Juliet are... well.. overly-emotional impulsive children.

Which left me looking back at the end. Not with the weight of the tragedy that had just occurred, but with a feeling of, "....Are you serious??"
