This the first novel by Edith Wharton that I have read, and I will definitely be reading others. Very easy read, but also very captivating. Although it was first published in 1917, I still found it relevant today. The story is timeless and heartbreaking (but then again, most first love is heartbreaking). I highly recommend this novel.
