The writing style in this trilogy is subtly gripping. It's the only way I can describe not being consciously impressed with it, but being deeply affected by the story itself. Though the ending provided a necessary turn for selflessness, it was truly heart-wrenching. Overall, I loved every minute that I read it. One of those stories that, literally, I was sad to be finished with.
