This book has emo written all over it. It doesn't really have a plot. The story is about a boy named Holden Caulfield who tells his story about the phoniness of society, and his alienation from it to keep from becoming a phony himself. The book is a page turner, but terribly depressing. If you're looking for a book that leaves you with a warm feeling inside, keep looking.
