A great book to read anytime of the year...hits very close to home and reminds us of what Christmas is really about, and to face our storm and go through it rather than avoid it and live in the past. It makes you realize that if you have family that loves you unconditionally, you are the richest person in the world and have everything you need. No material thing can ever replace the love of God or family.I'm almost 2/3 of the way through The Christmas Sweater and I just started it earlier today. So far the book has made me laugh and cry - stirred many memories of my childhood. There are parallel themes throughout this book and my own life.
