I can't seem to get through this book in one read. I'm on my third attempt and I am about a chapter or two from the end and I have not read a page in over a week. That's not like me. I usually devour books in a matter of days. I'm not sure why I don't find this one as interesting or as compelling as The Lord of The Rings but maybe its because its quite simplistic, having been aimed at children. Who knows? It's not awful but it's just not that interesting.
