I was disappointed in The Lost Symbol. Theme, plots, and settings the reader has come to expect from Dan Brown but - not much originality in this new book. Well researched, but not great prose. An enjoyable weekend read but I kept seeing Nicholas Cage in my mind in ""National Treasure"....And the ending was pitiful. I have to say in regard to character development - you would think by now that Robert Langdon would be over the "gosh, that's just not possible" incredulousness.
