I remember reading this book as a young kid. I loved reading, and we always had books in the bathroom. I remember this one b/c it was tucked away, under the sink, behind all the hair stuff, and the cover was so pretty.This was a mind-opening book. Written sorta like a mystery/supernatural, but the theme was so simple. I grew up in a pro-life, uber Christian home, but they only show u one side of the pro-life/pro-choice story, and this was another side. A real answer to "why not," not just another "b/c I said so." It addresses some complex issues, but written so simply, that a 11 year old (b/c that prob how old I was) could understand it. and its helped me to have empathy for anyone contemplating a tough decision like that, and not to judge, b/c no matter what decision u make, neither is the "easy way out."
