Every page of Lewis that I read reminds me why he is one of my favorite authors. In these addresses, his brilliance shines just as perceptibly through these sermons as any of his other written works. And, in some ways, these addresses reveal a transparency and spiritual honesty that is more veiled in many of his books. The most piercing were "The Weight of Glory," "The Inner Ring," and "A Slip of the Tongue." I have already re-read them, and I am sure I will again.
