Cut is an easy and insightful read as it shed some light on sleep disorders and selfharming, integrated into a riveting storyline. It gave me chills in the buildup when Dawn started sleepwalking and "punishing" herself, but it sustained my curiosity till the very end of the book. Knowing it is a true story further interests me. To people with a palate for true stories dealing with inner struggles, it's a must read.

This is a tragic story of blame when young. i love the Cathy Glass books and keeps you gripped to the story and put a tear to my eyes.

Another Cathy Glass beauty!! A very interesting insight to the "cutting" that some teenagers use to make themslves feel "better". As a true story I can only take my hat off to Cathy and all the other Foster carers that take on these incredible tasks..

OMG....i would have fired that social services person in a heartbeat...holy crap! Very good read but i guess i really got into the book cause it got me sooooo friggen frustrated when i was reading but.....things have changed...i hope!! Excellent read!

This is a fantastic book about Cathy Glass' experience as a foster parent (or carer, as they say in the UK) to Dawn, a 13 year old. Dawn spent her earlier years back and forth between her parents and now her custodial parent, her mother, fits her in one hour a week when she's not with her boyfriend. Dawn deals with her life by cutting and always putting on a happy face. But Cathy can see through it and is determined to give this young adult the home that she so deserves. This is a relatively new author with her first publishing in 2007. She has 10 novels out and I'm going to be reading as many as I can get my hands on!
