 My favorite book that I first read in school. While everyone else was a Catcher in the Rye fanboy suddenly, I thought this book was amazing.

 Its a challenge to put into words what F scott is trying to convey to the readers. But he does it.It takes place in the 20's, and society was a little different , as a matter of fact the entire social system was different, and its not like this anymore. At least not from where Im from. Show boating and boasting about money, is un couth now, but it wasnt in the 20's where a driven but poor man named Jimmy Getz, or later changed to Gatsby, who comes from white trash, rises up to the ranks of millionaires within a few years.He does it for one girl named Daisy, who inspiration causes him to go from poor dirt farmer to a novea riche social climber.After he becomes rich, he searches out Daisy. He moves to her neighbourhood, and rents a house to Nick Caraway Daisy cousin. Nick Caraway is man with class who narrarates the entire novel. He throws huge parties in hope that Daisy well show up. SHe doesnt, so Gatsby asks for the help of Nick. THey unite, and Gatsby wants to marry dai
