To know Terry Pratchett is to love the almost bottomless pit of hysterically funny and bizarre characters he creates. Comic fantasy at it's best.

There's no one who can create a world like Terry Pratchett, who, in this book, actually creates more than one and sits back to see what would happen when they collide. Tiffany Aching, despite being quite precocious for an alleged nine-year-old, is very respectable and readers will want to know exactly what's to become of this young witch.
