I love Maurice Sendak. He's an interesting man to say the least. Great interview on NPR's Fresh Air. Along with Eric Carle, and Mercer Mayer. If you have children, these are must authors.

'Where The Wild Things Are,' is a classic book about a boy with normal problems, and normal recations. It opens you up to a loving and mysticla world of make-believe where anything can happen and where you control the story. I think this is a wonderful children's book, and in my opinion, approrietly named, a classic.
