A great youth story, but far too young for my reading. Highly imaginative and creative world. I was certainly curious to see what ideas and concepts would've been conjured.

young adult, are you kiding me? matured not easliy creeped out person who really!! can get into a fantasy book. all the elements are there. for a good time with your imagination listening to the cd,very good so far, but of course i love clive barker

Odd, just odd. But in a Clive Barker kind of way. I like how different it is. Gives one something new to think about. Better to actually read rather than listen to. The pictures in the book give you a better idea of what Clive is talking about.

I have yet to read a book that more completely transported me to a different world. Clive Barker's imagination is a force to be reckoned with. Amazing beginning! Can't wait to read the others in this series.

The whole book is simply the opening chapter for the series Barker has planned. There's no dramatic climax but it's certainly a great beginning.

This book was a lot of fun. Though a little slow to start, it ended up being thoroughly entertaining and utterly creative. (Duh, it's Clive Barker!) Yup, I now have to read the second book in the series. :)
