The Baudelaire children's lives are just miserable. But, the lives of the Baudelaire children only goes downhill throughout this book. To understand most of this book, you would have had to read all of the books before this one. Misery and Adventure, but mostly misery, around every corner.

This is probably one of the best book of the series. It is just amazing how everything seems so messed up that you cannot see a way out!

If you have made it this far, you will NOT be disappointed. Things are really interesting and the plot really gets much more complex and involved.
