Some people don't get the end of The End, or the end of the whole series. Reading between the lines, the series are about life, about win and loose, that not everytime things will be right, that sometimes we have to take dubious decisions/actions, that we won't always have answers for every little thing and we'll still have to stay honest and true to ourselves.I love it, Daniel Handler aka Lemony Snicket is a great author!

This book is the last in the whole series. This book is also the book that answers (most) of the quwstions that you have been wondering from the very beginning of the series. WARNING!! Finding out all of these unexpected answers at the same time CAN lead to a heartattack!

Snicket manages to give a meaningful ending to a series that, for a while, seemed impossible to end. It's even a satisfying ending, as it brings to close many mysteries throughout the series while not shying away from the form. The first half of the book is a little... dry.
