This book is a bit disturbing; the Columbine attacks are portrayed very realistically. But the book is really about the after-effects of the attacks on one couple. Witnessing the devastating effects of post-traumatic stress disorder through them is unsettling and eye-opening. However, I learned a great deal and very much enjoyed the writing.

FINALLY got the chance to finish this book. I think Mr. Lamb is a fantastic author, the way he intertwines today's events with historical is both amazing and sometimes confusing. I could NOT put this book down; Columbine, centuries old murders, psychological issues, drug abuse...Awesome!

Incredible story - not easy to describe. Historical fiction, both old and new all wrapped up into one with so many twists you never knew where it would take you next.

Unexpected twists and turns in this storyReally like Wally Lamb's writing style. The story was intriguing, but lost my ability to believe toward the end. Hmmmm...wasn't the hour I first believed, but a good read. Fascinating twists and turns in this story
