The beginning was interesting; but then as the story went deeper, it began to become kinda predictable for me.
There's London Above and London Below.
L.A- normal people.
L.B- Rats, rat speaker, bad- ass creatures, weird creatures live.
One day, Richard Mayhew (the protagonist) stumbled into the world of London Below, all because of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. or maybe he's just fated to bump into Lord Door (the heroine)- that's where all the good stuffs begin.

absoultely loved it. so imaginative and creative, not predictable and has a real feel to it. the main character richard is more than likeable, but whats best about this book is how it makes you wish that there really was a london underground.

Neil Gaiman shows us a world we can only imagine but the dragging narrative hurts the novel

This was the first Neil Gaiman book that I've read. It was quite enjoyable and original, though the middle dragged a little. I'll be reading more of his books.

Gaiman was recommended to me through another author's blog, and I became more interested after I found out he was the author of the Graveyard book, which won the Hugo this year. I decided to start with Neverwhere, as Rothfuss named it as one of his all time favorites in an article for the Pointer. Anyway, I was not disappointed. I was particularly struck by Gaiman's unique phrasing. He has a true knack for making the mundane new. The story was slightly predictable, but his villains were truly frightening. Reading their dialogue gave me tingles and a very clear image of exactly what they were about.

WONDERFUL, Gaiman throws you into a world that it seems impossible doesn't exist. Tinted with Dark Humor, such as the eating of Pigeon heads, it lights a path to a new future, and a new world beneath the City we all know.
