Fun read, I especially like the part where Lisa accurately portrays that American Heriess were frowned upon among English aristocracy.

Such a good book about the second "Wallflower." This is a book where two people who absolutely hate each other actually love eachother.

The most unconventional love team ever! Lillian & Marcus are so much fun w/ their love/hate relationship! Lillian is a sassy & feisty American. Marcus is a straitlaced English Lord. Together they're volatile & sizzling!

I love Marcus, Lord Westcliff and it was nice to see him fall in love. Unfortunately, I do not love Lillian Bowman and I cannot comprehend in my mind how Marcus can fall in love with such a brash and rude lady. The four star is for Marcus cause he's such a manly man! Not my fave Wallflower but still pretty good...I LOVE THIS SERIES!

This book was a good read. Your typical brute falls in love with the unconventional girl. One reason I liked this book was that it had to deal with Aline’s brother Marcus (Who I find by the way O so sexy). I absolutely loved Kleypas’s book Again the magic (It was my first one of hers), which dealt with the Marsden sisters. You get to know more about Livia and Shaw as well. But I really enjoyed reading Marcus’s story. I am not a crazy fan of Lillian though. If you are able too you should definitely read the Wallflower books in order. It will give them a much better response to characters especially my favorite book with the rake St. Vincent. You will fall head over hills for him. Evie is a doll too. That book relates to past books as well ( Which is one of the many reasons I choose to read Kleypas’s books). Happy reading.

Yay! It was such a great torture that neither of them wanted to be together. Loved this! Although, I really do wish that at the end of the book they could have played rounders together just for fun.

this is my best wallflowers series ...I liked Lillian because she is completely rich character. She is vibrantly full of life. right opposite of Marcus

an interesting book, i love Westcliff he is so funny. He's serious, but yet at the same time he isn't..he hides his funnyness and Lillian and funny also with her i don't care attitude towards Westcliff.

I think Lisa Kleypas writes a good historical romance. While this was not my favorite, it was a solid and enjoyable read. Unfortunately, once I put it down I couldn't really think of any parts that would make me want to go back and re-read the book. Now, the next book in the series was an entirely different story... I will add a review of the Devil in Winter.

Yeah. Lisa Kleypas is the only romance novelist whose books I enjoy, so of course I appreciated this novel. Deal with it.
