Absolutely fantastics series. All of the books are well written, and hold your attention to the very end. Its one of the rare series you don't want to end. The characters are well developed, story, description of charter magic, and the monsters are fantastic.

Very gritty, but good and definitely unique. The second book in the series, "Lirael," is kinda long and drags on a bit a points, but it's still well worth reading.

The best of all fantasy. an excellent approach to the real meaning of death and life. this trilogy really makes you think physiologically about everything you once knew.

Started this series when I was young, it managed to become the basis for my love of the genre. I named my daughter Sabriel.

I loved all of these books. Very different from anything else I had read. Still haven't read anything like this since. Fun read.
