I would have preferred more examples of where and why the sciptures were changed throughout the years, but it did a great job proving that the Bible has been altered throughout the entire course of its existence.

Ehrman studied greek and hebrew and scholarly criticism to prove that the bible was inerrant only to learn that it wasn't. This is a book that explains where the bible comes from, who wrote it, and how scholars see the bible compared to the general public. Fascinating read.

I LOVED this book..so much information about how the bible was writen and translated. This book is based on facts and not about faith..even after I read it I still had faith.

A great introduction into 'lower criticism'. Many Christians are not ready to deal with the questions this raises about the Bible and faith.
