La storia scorre è anche originale, ma il finale è deludente. Mi aspettavo qualche cosa di meglio.

El último Catón es un buen libro de aventuras, y me atrevería a decir de historia religiosa. Muy fácil de leer y entretenido al mismo tiempo, nos permite sumergirnos en una liviana historia que nos lleva por distintas ciudades del mundo a descubrir algunos misterios que nos permitirán entender un poco más de la Santa Cruz, donde ha muerto Jesús. No es un libro controversial, no es el Código Da Vinci, pero se deja leer con tal facilidad, que da gusto llegar al final.

Malísimo. No me enganchó nada. Aburrido y la monja (personaje principal) es arrogante a no más poder. Lo dejé a los 200 páginas visto q el desarrollo de la historia se hacía más lenta que una carrera de caracoles.

Muy buen libro, y los datos historicos INCREIBLES!! Que buena investigacion tiene de datos e informacion historica, una escritura amena y corrida. Un libro muy recomendado! Me gusto mucho!

Muy del estilo de Matilde Asensi, la historia atrapa enseguida y además, como habla de la Divina Comeida creo que es más instructivo de lo que parece. La parte mala es, como ya nos tiene acostumbrados en sus libros, que al final las cosas son más mágicas o increibles de lo que parece leyendo el resto del libro. Lo recomiendo para pasar un buen rato.

Lo mejor de está escritora, sin duda, son alrededor de 500 páginas llenas de intriga, suspense, viajes, aventuras.. 600 páginas que no me durarón más de 3 días.

Una novela como la del Codigo DA Vinci pero con un fin diferente al de la Iglesia, se busca la felicidad constantemente y llegar a un lugar perfecto que está en un lugar de Africa a los que solo algunos con amplios conocimientos pueden alcanzar. Matilde es la mejor escritora española actualmente, o al menos la mas leída.

Some parts kept me intrigued, others had my mind wandering, but overall I really did enjoy this story. I was disappointed in the ending - but I am disappointed when any good book ends, so that doesn't mean much.

Las primeras páginas me engancharon, la idea parecía muy buena e interesante, pero luego me pareció demasiada ficción. A mitad del libro me cansé y me terminó decepcionando.

This is only the second book by a Spanish author I've read. Both have been in English translation so I know I'm missing some of what the original author was attempting. The story is told from the POV of a Sicilian nun (from a large Mafia family) who works in the Vatican. Much as it resembles The Da Vinci Code, it is an enthralling tale of discovery and pursuit to solve a centuries old mystery of a secret society. It's full of detail about the Vatican, ancient writings and long forgotten places. The writing (even in translation) is steeped in an atmosphere that just isn't seen in North America. I'm not sure whether it's the religiosity, the well-developed main characters or just the plain skill of Matilde Asensi. Whatever, it's certainly a number one reading for me.
