I had to put this book down at one point and just couldn't bring myself to finish. Finally after about a month, I was able to pick it up again. Another great Picoult book!

this book really bothered me. i love jodi picoult's books but for some reason the content of this one bothered me to the point i wish i had not read it.

Some readers seem to have misunderstood this book. Emily Gold plans to kill herself, but can't go through with it, and her boyfriend takes the gun from her, and when he embraces her, both her hand and his are on the trigger and it gets pressed. it in no way says that it's morally acceptable to take a persons life in any situation. I enjoyed this read.

I was a bit disappointed with this book....especially the ending. I felt that there were a lot of holes in the story and many of my questions were left unanswered. Not one of my favorites by Picoult. It did hold my interest, however, it just fell apart at the end for me.

Very sad but AMAZING! I loved the trial and all the lawyer stuff because thats what I want to do when I grow up!
