one of my favorite books of all time for sure..an adventure story, but it's beautiful and has profound wisdom in it too. paulo coelho is pretty amazing

definitely a great book you can finish in a couple sittings its very compelling i love coehlo's work and as one of his first books of his in my library i definitely recommend it. Life love and the pursuit of happiness =D

Aweful book. His sentiment of 'never stop following your dream' is naive and simplistic and combines the worst of self-help cleches with the blind positivity that I would normally associate with trashy American chat shows.
