I have just gotten into Neil Gaiman and he is fast becoming one of my favourite authors. This book of short stories really stirs the imagination.I have nearly finished reading this. Will begin reading Neverwhere soon as I have heard a lot of good things about it.

Even though this book came out first I read Fragile Things first therefore am sort of going to compare it to Fragile Things and not vice versa as would be proper. Either way, this was a fantastic collection. I found myself going back over some of the stories, enthralled. I loved every page. The way Neil Gaiman's mind works is just unbelievable and I know that I am in love.

this was my first gaiman read outside of his 'sandman' series; LOVED it! my fav was 'babycakes'. i don't have much time to read a lot in one sitting, so these short stories were quite satisfying.

Yet again I couldn't stop reading this book once I started, Gaiman fabricates worlds out of words and makes your dreams and nightmares come alive, worth reading and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes escapism with a twist.
