Death takes a holiday. Even if you haven't read Terry Pratchett before, this is the one that will make you want to read all of his work.

not one of my favorite discworld books, but definitely entertaining. Some of the wizard plotline is a bit muddled. But, for having no sense of humor, Death is pretty funny.

Possibly my favourite Death book - he was good as a supporting character in Mort but here the reader is almost able to look at the world as Death sees it. Plus, the introduction of the Death of Rats - SQUEAK!
