A beautifully written piece done to express a difference in opinion between Caliban and Prospero from The Tempest. It delightfully turns the whole episode round turning the evil Caliban into a much maligned and put upon suffering soul. A must read for anyone who has read the Tempest it does challange your interpretation of the work.

A lovely short story addition to the story of the Tempest that shows Tad Williams writing at it\'s best. \

A hint of Shakespeare in it, more in the setting and the way the tale unfolds than in the actual language and dialogue, which remains very modern and accessible.

Very useful for those studying The Tempest. Not much good for anything else, including enjoyment.

A retelling of the story of the Tempest from the point of view of Caliban. Richly written, it is a good addition to the tradition of the re-told fairy tales.

Truly a piece of literary brilliance. Redefines the "monster" of Shakespeare's "Tempest" in a way I'm sure the Bard himself would have applauded.
As proud owner of both Hard and Soft 1st Edition/1st Printings, I consider this to be a star in my collection, and recommend its reading & re-reading to everyone who enjoys their philosophical cocktails with a twist as only Tad Williams can serve.
