This book was fantastic! My only regret is that I let it sit on my shelf for almost six years before I picked it up and read it. Shame on me, really!

Not very funny this is a horror story. I am scared for life! Not fun like you'd expect from Mr Pratchett. This is a survival horror story.

This is part 3 after Wyrd Sisters and Witches Abroad...and it just didn't work for me. Good bits of business finishing up the witches story, but it's one of his weaker plots and it beats you over the head with the humor instead of being witty.

My favorite witches book. Wonderful acting, dancing in the moonlight and the Lancre Men Morris Dancing "Stick and Bucket Dance!"

Pratchett does it again! Perhaps more than usual, it helps to be familiar with the Discworld mythos for this story, but even if you haven't read any of the titles featuring the witches, you'll soon come to like Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg and Margrat Garlik. Pratchett as usual does a good job of combining off the wall humour and trademark memorable characters to get you laughing AND thinking, in this case about how appearances can be deceptive - especially when it comes to witches and elves (and Orangutans!)
