Clive Barker has a mind like no other and is able to create wondrous worlds and characters. I always enjoy getting lost in his stories and this book doesn't disappoint.

I love Clive Barker's writing style. It is clever, thought-provoking, detailed, and extremely eloquent. That said, this book was fantastic. It is written from a very interesting viewpoint, and it intensely suspenseful the entire way through. This book is long, but not long enough. The first book in a while that, when I was finished, I found myself sad it was done. The story is large, the characters are even larger. I love it.

This book was terrible! Lots of glitter, but very poor quality. His character development was bad, but what's worse is all the monotonous, nonsensical bologna used for filler. This story could have been told in 100 pages, (as opposed to 600 ), and still would have been grueling to read. Aside from it being sexy (kind of), this book was a complete waste of time!
