This is a wonderful bit of adolescent fiction. It's written from the perspective of a bored and petulant child who is not always perfectly nice. I've presented this book to several groups of students and they love it.

Un siniestro y retorcido cuento para niños, lo lei porque adore la pelicula que hicieron de el, y ambos son dos versiones muy buenas, padres que tenga niños que sueñan con tener otros padres, no duden en darles este libro para traumatizarlos un poco de lo que puede pasar cuando no se tiene cuidado con lo que deseas.

Neil Gaiman is an extremely picturesque author. I thought this book was pretty great even though it seems more directed towards kds. I, personally, wouldn't let my kids read it til they got a little older (it creeped me out at times), but it is one book I think would keep a young teen's attention. Makes me want to read more of Gaiman's stuff.
