I think I won't finish this one, though I like it a bit. The serious plot is a bit jarring, next to the Wiz of Oz background. I think the book could have stood alone quite well without the baggage of the old classic. Young Elphaba is quite endearing though, and I like her a lot. I don't know, quite, why I could not like this book more. Worth a try.

Took some patience to get into this book but I liked it alot overall! I also now know Dorothy's last name from the Wizard of Oz!

I found it quite intriguing to see another side of the well-loved story of OZ. The "Wicked" Witch is nothing of the sort...you may find it a tad bit confusing at times, but wade through, it's well worth the read.
