a good book to read, reminds me of the characters from masters of the game since they were always being mentioned on this book. the incest part is not so cool though and the book tried to revive the Jamie Mcgregor character on one Gabriel mcgregor but never quite good.

I thought this was a good book. she is very close to Mr. Sheldon's style of writing. Not to sound like a prude, but i think there was a little more sex in the story than was needed, the reader should be left to use their imagination..

A book with multiple characters who as the story progress relate to each other. The first half is gripping and very hard to keep down. Some relations like the one between the protagonist and her cousin is difficult to digest. The story starts and goes into a flashback unravelling all the mysteries and connecting all the characters. Though its said to be a sequel to the other novel by Sidney Sheldon "The Master of the Game" (which I havent read), I was comfortable understanding this one. A unique thing I found about the story was all the characters have been explained in detail which makes you feel that this character is important to the story. However, not all characters stretch beyond 3 pages.

Great sequel to its predecessor. Even if you havent read the Master of the Game, ( which is awesome ) this book gives so much insights , so the reader does not feel they are missing out anything . What an intriguing read !

This was the first book that I have read of hers. I was somewhat disappointed in it. It was a very slow read and I had to force myself to finish it. Maybe this was due to Sidney Sheldon writing the first one??? I will read another one by her to see if maybe that was it.
