This has to be one of the greatest Eric Carle stories everywhere. His signature paintings are combined with a hilarious story that demands to be read in the funniest voices ever. As a teacher, I also have to appreciate the incredible blend of stuff. Here we have science, math, manners, and dare I say drama. This is a perfect read-aloud as well as fun for the kids to flip through on their own.
