I still maintain this to be my favorite of the series, at least so far ( I still need to read the last three books), but I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

Well, this was the fifth of the Chronicles of Narnia series and it was quite good, just like the four preceding it. This is the story of an adventure that happened in Narnia and Calormen and the lands between, in the Golden Age when Peter was High King in Narnia and his brother and his two sisters were King and Queens under him. It involves some new characters and I enjoyed it because of the new perspectives that this one was told from. And of course, it's heartwarming!

I enjoyed this book, especially since it's the first one that deals with out of mainland Narnia. It gives us a glimpse to the rest of the planet. The only problem was the middle of the book stopping in Tashban for so long. It bogged down the story I felt. Still, it's interesting seeing grown up Peter et. all!

If you have watched first and the second movies of Narnia, this story also missing in between. Its always good to read in a order.so You can understand the story better.

I really enjoyed this book. It is so much different from the other books in the series that I have read so far. I loved all the mystery of what was going on. You were learning new answers to old unanswered questions every minute. It was so exciting!!
