This is the very first Novel I can remember reading and is THE book that #1 got me hooked on John Grisham and #2 inspired my love for reading.

Awesome Read! .. I had a long 12 hr Airport layover and I survived iit because of this...Great Page Turner.. Washington Politics + Good Old Thriller Charm = Great Blockbuster read!! I guess this is becoming a cult classic :)

The movie is not as chilling as the novel is, though Julia Ropberts is brilliant.Read the book if you can withstand a little fantasy with a little legal thrill.

After The Firm, this novel was a slight disappointment. The bulk of this book is monotonous and boring, but still a good read.

Read this book in one sitting because I just couldn't put it down. In my opinion this is one of Grisham's best and should be read even if you are not a fan... but you will be after you're done.

The premise of THE PELICAN BRIEF as revealed in the ending is unbelievable but the story is otherwise great and as long as you don't care that it could never happen that way, you will be fine.
